Crap.

Crap.

Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap.

Almost everything on the internet is crap.

There should be some sort of internet cop, or something.

I’m not even talking about obscene and profane sites. Simple ones like Mindsay, Myspace, Shoutlife, Facebook. They are totally polluted.

There, from what I can find, is no reasonably regulated blog site.

I loved Shoutlife for a while, because there was intelligent debate, honest god fearing people, that weren’t creepy.

But now its full of garbage.

Gotten way out of hand from what I can tell.

Mindsay, isn’t really full of garbage so much as its just really easy for people to read your stuff.

Myspace… well… enough said.

Sometimes it just makes me want to crawl in a hole and stay there. For a looong time.

It bugs me how stupid people can be.

I don’t know how to explain it, other than right now I feel like ripping down and deleting every online account I have. From piczo to Shoutlife, from facebook to Myspace.

I don’t see the need for them anymore anyways.

They get fun for a while, then you loose interest. Or it just becomes so much of a hassle you don’t want to bother.

That’s kind of what has happened with me and my longtime love Shoutlife. I have 270 some odd friends. But they aren’t my ‘friends’. Some of them are, but others I have no idea who they are. And to be honest with you, I couldn’t really care less.

So tonight, I have or am currently going through, deleting people I don’t know, making everything private to people I don’t know, and secluding myself as much as I can from the outside.

I like blogging, and I like people reading them, its just sometimes the wrong person reads them.

So anyways. Im off to bed soon.

Peace Out

Sickly Babies, Cold, Racist? (Feb 16)

(Feb 16, from my Shoutlife Page)

Well today was certainly interesting. I had many questions pulsing through the half of my brain that was awake on this wonderful day.

Wow, wonderful? Not!

I spent the entire day at home, on my day off I might add, with my sickly two year old nephew. He was running a 101 temp, had a runny nose, wasn't hungry, and was clingy all day!

But I guess its not all bad. My little brother took on the job to watch over him, but Clark kept crying and telling them he wanted his Uncle Babbers. It was cute; we cuddled most of the day. And whenever I tried to put him down he would very sternly tell me "No! Uncle Tor!" And I would pick him back up again, or he would become a limp noodle.  I love being the favorite uncle.

Totally new subject,

The people who live in cold areas will know what I'm talking about when I say… winter and water mains don't mix. Almost everyone I know has had a pipe burst because it was frozen. Which sucks. I'm just itching for one to burst through the street. That's always cool to watch.

Again, a whole new topic,

I've been noticing more and more that I think much differently then the average person. I look for the good in a situation everyone deems to be horrible.

Like in English this week, my teacher must think I'm on drugs. Everyone talks about how bad the war in Afghanistan & Iraq is, how bad is and what we should do about global warming, Apartheid in South Africa, Native land, Black history month, Valentines Day etc etc etc.

In all of those situations, I am usually the one to come too if you want to get another side, or an honest side. Maybe I should use that. My honest side. People don't like to be honest, people like to be P.C., well not me.

When I try to explain myself to people, I usually sound like a racist/bigot world/environment hating war supporting hate monger. But I'm not. I just think differently than you.

I need to write long essays on everything I stand for, just so people understand me. Because if I where to tell you that the Apartheid in South Africa was a good thing at first, that black history month shouldn't exist, or that global warming is a good thing you would probably be disgusted. It takes people time, especially my English teacher, to get used to my train of thought.

Maybe I'll blog later about how I feel on these issues, who knows.

Anyways, its been cold here the past few weeks. Try delivering papers in -30 degree whether with a -45 degree wind chill blowing at your face, yea, it whomps. Well, at least I'm not in northern New York state, would hate to be trudging through 12 feet of snow.

Well, I'm almost off to bed, well not almost, in about 2 hours or so. But yea...

Peace Out

Tor

P.S.

I hate Valentines Day, Jeffwa took the words right out of my mouth…

So... what are you doing today to show love?

Jeff's response: Since I don't have a love, I plan on kicking random people between the legs.

I also put a hit out on Cupid. That cherubic punk's gonna get capped in his halo-ridden head.

I swear, I'm not bitter!

P.P.S.

Sorry, this blog is really jumpy.

Global Warming

Seriously, is it really that bad?

I mean, this will open up northern and southern countries for farming, and there will be much more space on the earth.

I had my geography teacher in the first part of the year tell me that where I am standing right now used to be covered in kilometers deep of ice thousands of years ago.

Then after the New Year it was our ‘Global Warming’ unit.

He tried to tell me then that the ice caps melting were MY fault. Well, not my fault, but humans.

How do you expect me to believe that in a couple thousand years, kilometers of ice melted, and receded as far back as they are now, without human help.

Now  when I tell other people I’m for global warming, people look at me funny, and tell me all these things about how horrible it will be.

But really, I don’t think it will be.

Lets say Canada and the United States completely got rid of everything that causes global warming.

There would still be this ‘Problem’ because in all reality, China isn’t going to stop. And they are one of the biggest producers of greenhouse gasses. They are more concerned about money and power, they don’t really care what it’ll be like in a few hundred years.

Another thing people try and tell me is ‘Aww, well look at all the poor polar bears’.

Come on, seriously, if glaciers have been melting for this long, don’t you think that these animals would have ‘evolved’, or at least adapted slowly? (That’s something to say to an atheist). Extinction is proof of creation.

Anyways, even if this ‘problem’ does exist, all it will do is kill a few polar bears and make the sea rise a few meters.

Does this make me sound like a hate monger yet?

I also think there has been little if no recognition of those scientists opposing findings of other scientists.

I ALSO have been doing some research, and I found out that in the 1970’s they said we were in for another ice age. But then in the late 1980’s they came out and said, wait… did we say ice age? We meant global warming.

But anyways, what is your take?

P.S. I’m hoping this made sense. I always have thoughts and type them out as I go. I never really plan these things out. I just write like my mind thinks. Does anyone think my mind needs meds? LoL

School...
School

So lately I've been bombarded with evolution.

I'm not even going to lie to you; it kinda breaks you down after a while.

I mean, I have school for 5 days out of the week. In that time, I am constantly sent messages about the non-existence of God. And then I have Friday night youth group, and Sunday morning, too be with people that love God.

I think I'm like a plant. I start off strong coming into school, probably because I spend the summer and Dorion. Then, I'm starved for a week (the school week). But at the end of that week, I get water. Just enough to get me through the coming week.

This is why I have blogsites.

Because I know that people on here feel and have had the same experiences that I do.

Which is a good feeling.

Anyways, I wanted to talk a bit about evolution with you.

I am starting a space unit in science. And in the first day, we watched a video. This video was all about each of the planets. Then they went into how they were formed.

Lets go back in time for a second. I went to see a guy speak on whether God was real or not at another high school in Thunder Bay. In the time of his sermon, he said this. "If you where to ask any scientist, anywhere, they would tell you that something cannot come from nothing. But you go and ask them a week later, where the universe came from. They will tell you& nothing. This is a major whole in Evolutionist thinking"

He also said that the scientist would tell you there is a chance that it all happened. And you have to wonder why it happened this exact way. But what are the chances of a tornado, blowing throw an assembly plant, and putting together the pieces of a 747 so it was perfect and ready for take off?

(This was a powerful speaker. Dr. Richard Ganz)

Anywhooo, At school....

I was watching this video, and the narrator said this: "Now that we can see and have learned about all the planets, lets go back in time, back when Screen Turns Black This is call you could see. This is black. About (however million years) ago, the universe was nothing. But then, in the blink of an eye, there was an explosion, and everything came to be, and the planets and stars formed"

I think I might have laughed out loud.

Yea, so that was just some thoughts on my life right now.

Peace Out

P.S. If this made no sence. It was because I just woke up, and i'm rushing to get ready. =]

Ramblings...

There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that makes me more angry and frustrated then having people tell people that the Bible is too good for them. It is revolting.

I mean, I understand telling people where you stand on issues. But talking about certain groups of people and then acting like they are a people that God wont accept? That is wrong.

Take this site for example:

www.needgod.com

It starts off by saying: To find out if you need God, you must start by answering a few important questions

Alright

Are you a good person by Gods standards?

Uh, No…

If so, are you good enough to get to heaven?

I said no, but I’m assuming you meant this for ignorant people…

Then is goes to ask you questions:

Have you ever told a lie

Yes

Have you given money to charity

Yes

Do you go to church regularly

Yes

Have you ever stolen anything (no matter how small)

Yes

Have you ever used  "God," "Jesus," or "Christ," as a curse word?

Yes

Have you made it a practice to read the Bible

Yes

Have you ever looked at someone and had lustful thoughts?

Yes

Have you ever broken the first Commandment?

No

Now, these are some okay questions, its what they do with them next that ticks me off…

It doesn’t give you a personalized score card. It gives everyone the same answers. Even if you leave them all blank.

Here is what it says…

YOUR SCORE

This test is designed to answer 2 questions:

Are you a good person according to God's standards?

And if so, are you good enough to go to heaven?

NOTE: Some questions are scored as a group, and others are

scored separately. The questions may appear out of numerical order.

(Bull Crap. There is no ‘score’, but anyways, continue reading)

1. Have you ever told a lie?

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTION #1:

The Ninth of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not lie." Telling just one lie, according to God's standards, makes you a "liar." In Revelation 21:8, God says, "...all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire..."

7. Have you ever looked at someone and had lustful thoughts?

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTION #7:

The Seventh of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not commit adultery." If you've ever looked at another person with lustful thoughts, according to God's standards, that makes you an "adulterer." Jesus said, "You have heard it said, You shall not commit adultery: But I say to you, that whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, God says that no adulterers "...shall inherit the kingdom of God."

5. Have you ever used "God," "Jesus," or "Christ," as a curse word? (Example: "Oh my G-d!")

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTION #5:

The Third of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain." If you've every used the name "God," "Jesus," or "Christ" as a curse word, what you've done is take the name of the God who gave you life, and you've used it as if it were a "four-letter" filth word to express disgust. That offense is called "blasphemy," and according to God's standards, you are a "blasphemer." In Leviticus 24:16 , God says, "he that blasphemes the name of the LORD, shall surely be put to death..."

4. Have you ever stolen anything (no matter how small)?

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTION #4:

The Eighth of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not steal." Stealing just one thing (regardless of it's size or monetary value), according to God's standards, makes you a "thief." In 1 Corinthians 6:10, God says, "No thieves... ...shall inherit the kingdom of God."

8. Have you ever broken the first Commandment?

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTION #8:

The First of the Ten Commandments is "You shall have no other gods before me." That means that we should love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. The Bible tells us that no one has kept this commandment (see Psalm 14:2-3) -- if you said you had, you have also broken the 9th Commandment by lying.

Alright, i'm going to interject here for a minute... These verses in Psalm have nothing to do with this subject...

2. Have you given money to charity?

3. Have you gone to church regularly?

6. Have you made it a practice to read the Bible regularly?

YOUR SCORE ON QUESTIONS #2, #3, and #6:

Giving money to charity, going to church, and reading the Bible are all good activities--but none of them impress God. The Bible says, "and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." (Isaiah 64:6) That means, all our "righteous acts" -- these "good deeds" that questions 2, 3 and 6 asked about -- can never make up for the fact that we've broken God's Holy Commandments. Think of it this way. If a person was guilty of a serious crime... such as murder... but he gave money to charity, does that make up for his crime? No. The person's crime hasn't been paid for because he gave money to charity. This "good deed" will mean nothing to the judge when he passes sentence. The murder must still be punished.

Okay, this part is confusing. Sure, it doesn't make up for sin. But it counts for something:

Matthew 6: 1 - 4

Giving to the Needy

1"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

RESULT:

This test showed you how you stand up when judged by just five of God's Ten Commandments. So, if God judges you by that standard would you be innocent or guilty of breaking His Commandments?

The intent of this is to give everyone the same sermon, but really. Who hasn’t lied, or look at someone and said, wow, she’s hot, or stolen something. The hypocrisy of the people who made this is amazing. (Just read on to see why)

It gives you two choices to click (the underlined words). So I obviously clicked the guilty button. I’m not stupid. I’m not going to lie. (Wow, the irony if I had clicked no on #1)

CORRECT: You would be guilty.

Do you think you would go to Heaven or Hell?

Now, being a Christian, I pressed Heaven, what happened next blew me away…

INCORRECT

While it may seem that God's goodness will cause Him to overlook your sins, the opposite is actually true. Perhaps the following illustration will add some clarity: Imagine you're standing before a judge, guilty of multiple crimes. The judge is about to pass sentence when he asks, "Do you have anything to say for yourself?" You stand up, look the judge in the eye and say, "Yes Your Honor, I believe that you're a good man... and because you're good, you will let me go." The judge will probably say something like, "Well, you're right about one thing... I am a good man. And it's because I'm good that I'm going to see that you are punished for your crimes." The very thing you are counting on to save you on the Day of Judgment -- namely God's goodness -- is going to be the very thing that will see to it that justice is done. Because God is so good He will make sure that every murderer, rapist and thief receives justice... but He won't stop there. He will also make sure every liar, blasphemer, and adulterer is punished. While this is something that is extremely tragic and far from God's ultimate desire for any person, the Bible is clear that the place of punishment for those who do not turn from their sins is Hell.

Does the fact that you're headed for Hell concern you?

Yes                          No

Do I need to say it? Sure… I was shocked. These people believe that you get sent to hell before heaven? IS THAT NOT WHY CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS? So that our sins were forgiven and we did not have to go to hell? So apparently, we are all going to hell. Now, if you were a non believer and you read this. It would not show you why you need God, it will show you how much he hates you. And that there is no point because you are going to hell anyways.

But it continues… ( I clicked no)

It should concern you.

Would you sell one of your eyes for a million dollars? How about both eyes for ten million? No one in their right mind would! Your eyes are precious to you... but they are only a "window" for your soul. Your soul (your inner being, your life, your personality) looks out through those eyes. Consider how precious your eyes are... then realize that Jesus said that Hell is so horrible that you would be better off tearing out your own eyes than ending up there for all eternity (Mark 9:43-48).

Perhaps you feel safe because you don't believe in Hell. This can be likened to standing in the middle of a busy highway and shouting, "I don't believe in trucks!" Your belief or disbelief in trucks will not change reality. The same applies in this situation. Your disbelief in Hell will not cause it to cease to exist. God has given us HIS WORD on the existence and purpose of Hell... LOOK HERE to see what God says in the Bible about Hell.

I don’t know about you, but I would sell one of my eyes for a million dollars. So, I looked there to see what the Bible says about Hell…

The Bible Describes Hell

There are three words translated “Hell” in Scripture:

Gehenna (Greek): The place of punishment (Matthew 5:22,29; 10:28; and James 3:6)

Hades (Greek): The abode of the dead (Matthew 11:23; 16:18; Luke 16:23; Acts 2:27)

Sheol (Hebrew): The grave (Psalm 9:17; 16:10)

There are those who accept that Hell is a place of punishment, but believe that the punishment is to be annihilated—to cease conscious existence. They can’t conceive that the punishment of the wicked will be conscious and eternal. If they are correct, then a man like Adolph Hitler, who was responsible for the deaths of millions, is being “punished” merely with eternal sleep. His fate is simply to return to the non-existent state he was in before he was born, where he doesn’t even know that he is being punished.

However, Scripture paints a different story. The rich man who found himself in Hell (Luke 16:19-31) was conscious. He was able to feel pain, to thirst, and to experience remorse. He wasn’t asleep in the grave; he was in a place of “torment.” If Hell is a place of knowing nothing or a reference to the grave into which we go at death, Jesus’ statements about Hell make no sense. He said that if your hand, foot, or eye causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to “go into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:43-48).

The Bible refers to the fate of the unsaved with such fearful words as the following:

“Shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2)

“Everlasting punishment” (Matthew 25:46)

“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51)

“Fire unquenchable” (Luke 3:17)

“Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” (Romans 2:8,9)

“Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9)

“Eternal fire...the blackness of darkness for ever” (Jude 7,13)

Revelation 14:10,11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: “He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone...the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night."

We do not enjoy speaking in detail about the torments of Hell. It is, however, a real place and God in his love and mercy does not want you to go there.

Do you know what God did so that you wouldn't have to spend eternity in Hell?

Yes                                    No

I don’t think I have any gears to grind with this part, but the next page is priceless… (Whether you were to click yes you no on the last part it would take you to the same place)

What God did...

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.

This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.

If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

We now suggest that you read "Save Yourself Some Pain" which contains 10 very important steps for new and growing Christians.

Now, if you were not already turned off by this page earlier and left a confused non-believer, you would have never made it to this page. It is fine, up until it starts to tell you how to pray, and how to be a Christian.

Matthew 6:5 - 8

5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Now when it tells you to read your Bible every day, it repeats it a couple time. Is that a necessary part of being a Christian. Hold on, back up. Yes it is. But will God smite you if you miss a day or two?

The last part, where it says ‘We now suggest that you read "Save Yourself Some Pain"’, well, I’m not even going to get into that.

Now, this is coming from a 14-year-old boy, and I don’t know how much that just made sense, or if I am totally or partially wrong. I suspect somewhere in there I contradict myself, but I can’t be sure where. LoL

So yes, that’s part of my rambling, the part where I get mean and nasty at a web site. The next part, however, is on an entirely different subject, which I will blog about later, when I have all my info. J Stay Tuned

Peace Out

Tooth Pulled, Mental Health Place, Fun Fun Fun...
Okay…

Well, I got my tooth pulled. I’ll tell you, it wasn’t the most pleasant thing I have ever done. But other than that I guess it was good, because I can feel the adult tooth coming in. The dentist could have been a bit gentler though. Anyways, yea it was pretty interesting.

Wow, I was thinking, there are some pretty odd songs. Like Fergalicious?

Last night was pretty fun. Me, Karla and Vonn went for a walk. First we went for a walk, and we decided to go to Heath. We met Annie there, and we started to talk. I called Vonn my Emolicious friend, and she flipped, so she kicked the slushy out of my hand. I chased her with what was left of it and got it all over her back. It was awesome.

Then we had to go home…lol

But first we went by this old lot in Westfort. It used to hold the Francis Street School, but now it’s just…well…a lot. But yea, there is a huge sign there now advertising the new Mental Health Facility that’s going to be built there. 12.15 Million Dollars they need. Oh my goodness, when they get that finished its going to look so out of place. Wow, that new of a building in Westfort? Bad idea.

Hmm, I wonder what this’ll be like. Having a place like that less than a block away from my house. I guess I’ll have to wait. Fall 2008 people. Lol.

Well, I’m in tech right now, like I usually am at this time. I’m done our project thing, so I’m trying to waste time.

Wasting Time

Wasting Time
